Destination Oregon: From Hubbard with Love

Coffee drive-thru businesses are already a common sight in Oregon, but on a recent trip through the North Willamette Valley, our Destination Oregon crew stumbled on to what may be the most unique coffee drive-thru in the state.

Dave Jones takes us to Hubbard for this week’s Destination Oregon, sponsored by Robberson Ford.

Destination Oregon: Old Aurora Colony Museum

In the mid 1800’s, a Christian communal group pulled up stakes and headed down the Oregon Trail, eventually landing in the Willamette Valley outside Portland. They prospered there for more than 30 years before disbanding.

For this week’s Destination Oregon, sponsored by Robberson Ford, Dave Jones shows us the Old Aurora Colony Museum, a remarkable historical museum that pays tribute to their trek.

Destination Oregon: Tamástslikt Cultural Institute

The Umatilla Cayuse and Walla Walla Native American tribes call Northeast Oregon and Southeast Washington home, and have for thousands of years.

For this week’s Destination Oregon, sponsored by Robberson Ford, Dave Jones takes us to Tamástslikt Cultural Institute in Pendleton dedicated to the history and future of the Umatilla Cayuse and Walla Walla tribes.

Destination Oregon: The Schooner Restaurant

The tiny beach town of Netarts is located on Netarts Bay in Tillamook County. The sleepy little town has not changed much over the years … small cabins, second homes, crabbing in the bay, beachcombing.

For this week’s Destination Oregon, sponsored by Robberson FordDave Jones takes us to the one thing that has changed in Netarts, the Schooner Restaurant.

Destination Oregon: Pendleton’s Rainbow Cafe

Pendleton, in the northeast corner of the state, is of course home to the internationally famous Pendleton Round-Up. It is also home to the almost equally famous Rainbow Cafe, where cowboys and cowgirls and city slickers as well chow down and drink up.

For this week’s Destination Oregon, Dave Jones takes us to the authentic western bar, the Rainbow Cafe.

Thanks to Jo at Rainbow Cafe for showing us around and a special thanks to our Destination Oregon sponsor, Robberson Ford, for giving us the time and resources to take you to some of our state’s most beautiful and interesting locations every Thursday night on Central Oregon Daily.

Destination Oregon: Faith, Hope and Charity Vineyards

The Faith, Hope and Charity Vineyards near Terrebonne is carving out a niche in local agritourism while winning some winemaking awards along the way.

In this week’s Destination Oregon Dave Jones takes us to the vineyard that bears the name of the local mountain peaks and is quickly becoming a popular Central Oregon attraction.

Thanks to the folks at Faith, Hope and Charity for showing us around and a special thanks to our Destination Oregon sponsor, Robberson Ford, for giving us the time and resources to take you to some of our state’s most beautiful and interesting locations every Thursday night on Central Oregon Daily.
