Night Skiing at Hoodoo Ski & Recreation

Whether you prefer the deep and challenging powder of Hoodoo’s backside or the finely groomed runs of the front side, the majesty of Hoodoo’s location and fun of Hoodoo’s night skiing will bring you back again and again. Even if you don’t ski we have plenty to do for everyone including the very popular Autobahn Tube Hill.

Hoodoo Ski and Recreation Area is the only place you can go night skiing in Central Oregon so Mackenzie Wilson takes us there for some shredding under the stars.

Skydiving in Sisters

If you want a better view of Central Oregon there are plenty of peaks to hike for a unique perspective, but if you want a bird’s-eye view of the Cascades, you need to get a little brave. Mackenzie Wilson takes a leap of faith from 10,000 feet up with the crew at Skydive Awesome in Sisters.

The “Sour Beers” Trend in Craft Brewing

Although overall beer production was stagnant in 2015, craft beer was up 12% across the U.S., and within the craft brewing industry, one trend is growing faster than any other – sour beers. With thousands of visitors descending on our area for Central Oregon Beer Week, we thought it would be worth taking a closer look at sour beers – how they are made and how they taste.

Central Oregon Daily’s Mackenzie Wilson took on the assignment.
