Supper Club: Year In Review 2017

Central Oregon Daily’s Donna Britt sat down with Preston Callicott, CEO of Five Talent Software, Inc.; Oregon Lottery Commissioner Chris Telfer; and Nicole Vulcan, editor of The Source Weekly to discuss the major stories that affected Central Oregon this year.

Topics included the recent announcement by the Bend city Charter Committee, which presented its recommendations to the city council earlier this month and proposed a generally elected mayor and moving Bend to a ward system for city council elections.

Britt and her guests also discussed Oregon State University- Cascades, which received just a fraction of the money the Bend-based university expected to get from the state in order to expand.  They also covered the 2017 fire season, which blanketed Central Oregon and much of the western United States in smoke.
