In a beer town like Bend, breweries have to get creative to set themselves apart from the crowd. Good beer and great food is a start, but one local brewery is taking a step to boldly go where no brewery has gone before. For this week’s Destination Oregon, Dave Jones takes us to the Worthy Brewing Hopservatory.

Since 1995, Bend Brewing Company has been brewing award-winning craft beers and serving up delicious food in their downtown location on Mirror Pond. Owners Packy and Leslie Deenihan bought the brewery in 2016 and have some big plans for this summer! Watch this interview with Leslie to find out more about how the brewery will be expanding onto the lot next door, complete with outdoor fire pits and a nice, big lawn.

Pamela Balmuth, Field Marketing Manager, joined Central Oregon Daily at 3pm to tell us the Silver Moon story and brought in some delicious brews to taste, including their amazing oatmeal pale ale “Ahh… Freak Oat!” Silver Moon features a great menu and frequent musical guests.
