Bend Teenager Raises Money for Victims of Hurricane Maria
Makaih Cook has been playing musical instruments since he was four years old, so when he found out that the devastation of Hurricane Maria had affected his relatives in Puerto Rico, he decided to use his musical talents for a good cause.
Central Oregon Daily’s Allison Roecker has a preview of a special performance planned for Friday.
All proceeds from his benefit show will go to save the Children Hurricane Maria Relief.
The show starts at 5:45 on Friday and is at Cosa Cura Rescue Collective Consignment Store downtown at 910 Northwest Harriman Street across the Blacksmith.
