Volcanic Theatre Tackles Mamet

Take a story set in the back room of a Chicago pawn shop, written by one of the greatest American playwrights of our time, performed for the first time on Broadway in the 1970’s, revived by an Oklahoma-born actor/director and staged right here in Central Oregon, and you’ve got a spicy jambalaya of drama in the Volcanic Theatre Pub’s production of David Mamet’s “American Buffalo”.

The Source Weekly’s Angela Moore followed the cast as they learned the unique and intense language of Mamet.
